Offically Townie

OK, willing to admit; little overwhelmed. It's busy days. We closed Friday and by 11AM had the keys and were in the house ... at least I was. Phillip dropped off 2 chairs, a table and a lamp in the garage and tore off to The Club. Apparently, the races can't start without him. In the past, because Philip was traveling or all ready moved; I sold our 3 homes but have never been at a closing. Maybe Kentucky has unique rules. We walked into the title company office; there's our banker, title people, both realtors and the sellers. The sellers and their realtor go to another room. We sit at the table with the banker, our realtor and title person. There's a gift basket with a bottle of champagne ... I keep the basket near me. The paper shuffle starts. Holy Moly, I lost count of the times I signed my name, all the while attempting to read some of the print. In the meantime, from the corner of my eye; I can tell Philip is distracted as he's rapidly shuffling thru paper
